Lifeline People

About the Founders

Dave and Dee Alei founders of Lifeline Minstries Spirit filled Bible teaching ministry

Dave and Dee Alei have been in full time Christian ministry since 1989. They attended Fountain Gate Bible College in Plano, TX for five years prior to that, and both hold ordinations through Shekinah Ministries in Blountville, TN. They planted and pastored Living Water Community Church in Los Alamos, NM from 1990-1995.

They then ministered for two years in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, to Church leaders and others in the Body of Christ in association with Proclaiming His Word Ministries and Christian International Ministries.

In December 1996, the Lord led them to move to the northeast of England to establish a beachhead for ministry in the region. There, they planted Lifeline Christian Fellowship in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, and founded the Northeast Regional Ministry Training Centre, which served churches in the region. They also ministered through various seminars and retreats around the north of England and in Northern Ireland.

They remained in England until December of 2002, and after a sabbatical season, moved to Guaymas, Sonora (Mexico) in August of 2005 to establish a base of ministry there. They have been used by the Lord in church planting, pastoring, worship leading, prophetic ministry, youth work, equipping seminars and prophetic prayer counseling during their years of international ministry. They are currently establishing a youth center and working with the young people of Guaymas, which has the highest per capita teen suicide rate in all of Mexico for cities with populations under 150,000. Their vision is to give value, hope, training, and encouragament to these precious young lives. They are also working closely with the pastors in the city to foster unity and bring vision for real transformation.

Board of Directors

Wendell & Dee Seitz

Wendell and Dee Seitz have been friends since 1992, and currently live in the Texas panhandle. They are dedicated Christians, actively involved in prison ministry, evangelism, and Bible teaching in their local community. They have made several missions trips to Mexico, and we can always count on them for sound advice, prayer support, and the wisdom that comes with years of experience.

They have also provided much practical support through the years. Their generosity and sensitivity to the needs of the ministry have been a tremendous blessing to us and to the people with whom we come in contact. Many hearts have been touched by their love and compassion.

Brent & Nancy Talley

We first met Brent and Nancy Talley over twenty years ago. They have always had a heart for young people, and were the youth leaders in the first church we pastored in New Mexico. In more recent years, they founded two different youth-oriented ministries, Thunder Ranch and 180 Inc., and we have seen them make tremendous personal sacrifice to impart the love of Jesus into the lives of young people.

Brent is the driving force behind 180 Inc., a ministry designed to turn around the lives of at-risk young men by teaching them building trades. Nancy is currently associate pastor of a Vineyard fellowship in northern New Mexico.

Stateside Office

Bryan & Alexis Stegall

Bryan and Alexis Stegall oversee the stateside office for Lifeline Ministries. Our relationship with Bryan goes back more than 30 years - he and Dave fought fires together before Dave even met Dee! How wonderful it is that the Lord saved all of us, restored and renewed our friendships after losing touch with each other for over 20 years. We're so grateful that He also brought Alexis into our lives and has joined us together as co-workers for His Kingdom! We so appreciate all that Bryan and Alexis are doing to keep us on the mission field without having to worry about handling our funds!

This couple takes care of the U.S. office of Lifeline Ministries.  This includes all our banking and reporting needs, and serving as the registered agent in New Mexico for Lifeline Ministries. If you need to call, Bryan will be the one to answer our US phone. Alexis keeps us informed of contributions, makes bank deposits, updates our giving records, deals with misdirected mail, and handles our database needs. Bryan and Alexis have beautiful servant hearts and we count it such a blessing to have them as a part of Lifeline Ministries!

Snail Mail

Joann Freeburg

Joann Freeburg takes the responsibility to print out and mail our newsletters to everyone in the United States who either can't get them online or have elected to receive paper copies. What a blessing it is for us to know someone so reliable who joyfully covers that base for us!

Joann and her husband, Keith live on a beautiful lake in Landrum, SC. They are former pastors who have two grown children, Emily and Levi, and two grandchildren. Joann recently received her doctorate in theology from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary. We met in Florida in 1995 and have been great friends ever since.

Maureen Kersley

Maureen Kersley is the dedicated person in England who sends our snail mail newsletters to our British and European friends who either aren't able or prefer not to get them online. Maureen and her husband George have been dear friends of ours since 1997, when Maureen enrolled in our ministry training centre in the northeast of England.

Maureen really has a heart to touch the lost and the needy with the love and healing that the Lord has for them. She and George have two grown children, Adrian and Sharon. If you live in the UK and receive our newsletter through the post, it's because of Maureen's comitment to the Lord and to His people. What an incredible servant's heart!

Home away from Home

Elaine Alei

Elaine Alei handles our personal personal affairs in the States. In order for our visas and vehicles to remain legal here in Mexico, we have to maintain a US address. Elaine receives all our personal mail, sorts through it, and discards all the junk. She also makes sure that vehicle registrations, membership renewals, and other important personal commitments that we can't pay online get paid on time, as we can't trust the mail here in Mexico to deliver payments in a timely manner (if at all!!!)

Elaine and her husband Mo live in Albuquerque, NM, and have dedicated the majority of their 57 year marriage to raising five children, the oldest of which is one of the co-founders of Lifeline Ministries. [Thank you, Mom, for the gift of life and the sacrifices you have made, and continue to make, to help the Lord shape me into the man I am today. I love you!]
